Amy won an iPod Touch!

Check out this awesome 360 panorama that Amy took of her and Colleen’s Level 3 class at All About Dogs. She entered the photo into a contest sponsored by the creators of the 360 software and she won an iPod Touch! I don’t know what an iPod Touch is but I’m guessing it’s a big deal cause she was really excited about it.

Some Random Stuff

Coming off my successful flyball tournament weekend, I forgot to mention one of my favorite things about traveling to another city…getting my own bed! When it’s just Amy and me, we always get rooms with double beds so I take advantage of the extra bed and settle in.

Here I am just relaxing, ah, it’s so much better with no one in the bed to bother me.

And when we watched TV on Friday night before going to bed, I got a prime seat, no sitting on the floor for me!

So do you remember Thanksgiving of ’09 when I posted a picture of me and Amy’s youngest niece, Ariya? You can click here to see that post.

Well, she’s gotten a lot bigger now. Last week she and her parents came over to our house to search for some of their stuff (they’re using our basement as their storage room). Amy got this shot of me and Ariya in front of the Christmas tree. She walks now all over, no more stuck in a bouncy chair. She also likes to grab stuff. In her hand is an ornament that Amy gave her because as soon as she came into the living room she proceeded to take the round glass ornaments off the tree. The one in her hand is a much safer plastic one.

And lastly, of course Amy made me pose for another one of those Santa Hat photos. This time I am wearing the Christmas scarf she bought for me at the tournament and I’m sporting a Santa Hat. Happy Holidays everyone!

Video of my Return to Flyball Tournament Competition

Thanks to Shari for taking the video of my third time in the racing lanes on Sunday and posting it online. Here I am!

My Return to Flyball AND FBI’s Santa Hat Dogs

After a long absence from tournament competition, Amy and I went up to York, PA this past week to participate with my FBI teammates in the Jet Set Flyball Tournament. On Saturday I was able to get in some full runs during warm-ups before my team’s last two races. I did really well, stayed focused and got my ball. I also had a lot of fun, I really wanted to get in the ring and run! Then on Sunday, Amy and I went in during warm-ups before the team’s first race of the day and to our surprise, we stayed to run the first heat of the race! Apparently that had been the plan for months, Kim, the head of training, didn’t want to tell Amy because well, she gets a bit nervous and she didn’t want Amy stressing out. I did good though, so good in fact that I went in for the first heat of the second race and then ran all five heats of the third race and ran four of five heats in the last race of the day. I did it! It was really fun being able to compete again!

On Saturday, Amy also went around and made use of her newest favorite iPhone app, Santa Hat and took photos of the team FBI dogs in our holiday finest. First we’ll start with me in our room at the Red Roof Inn.

Now onto the other team dogs, let’s start with the biggest family of flyballers, the Shepherds.

Riot, he earned his 40K title this weekend!

Denali

Now we’ve got Gary and Dave’s dogs, let’s start with the Po.

And because Po looks the most Santa-like, Amy did a 2nd one.

Now onto the team Aussies starting with Lil’ Ricky.

Max

Aggie

Simon
